These headphones are pretty good when they work, both quality and range. But unless you use them daily, you absolutely cannot rely on the rechargeable battery. If you use the headphones at exactly the moment a recharge is complete, it will work fine. But if you have not used them for several days, but left the headphones in the cradle (supposedly to recharge as needed), they will NOT continuously recharge. In fact, they will almost always be dead. Not a very good design. I have many Sony devices with rechargeable batteries that never lose a charge until the battery gets old (my wireless phone and my rechargeable universal remote control). Koss HB60 Infrared Clip-On Wireless Headphones

I have been looking for replacement IR headphones for my 2006 Dodge Durange's entertainment system. The Factory supplied two KOSS HB75 headphones, but the headband is not very strong. One is broken on the left hand side, and the other is broken on the right hand side.

The receiver works great in the truck, although there is a hissing noise that the HB75 headphones do not have. It could be the supplied headphones with the HB60 kit. Regardless, this is a good alternative to the heavy stock headsets for automotive entertainment systems.

I'm thinking on picking up another one or two of these for the truck. The price was right and if the kids break one, it's not as a big deal as the heavy headsets that came with the truck.
